Target audience

This is for you if you want to find a more systematic way of bringing the climate change issues you work with into the heart of your organisation's business.

The event itself

This event introduces a new framework which provides a step by step approach to help you increase your influence within your organisation. The framework encourages you to consider the reality of the barriers you face when trying to get your messages heard, and provides an opportunity to think about how you can challenge those barriers and blocks. It also helps you identify the practical steps you can take to become more influential.  Participants at the event will receive information about the framework and the opportunity to 'have a go.'

The framework has been developed through work with Climate Change agents in the West Midlands and will use their examples to illustrate key components to becoming more influential.

Participants involved in developing the framework said,

"A change agent takes responsibility for their environment and identifies where there is room to move and improve. This framework helps people to take that responsibility and grow that environment so that others can take responsibility"

"It helps you to express more clearly what you are actually doing"

"It shows there is a coherent process for putting into action your outcome goals"
