You and your colleagues are cordially invited to hear about and discuss how we can work together to make Birmingham an engine for growth of the sustainable global economy through development of low carbon systems at our final event in Birmingham’s Year of Science.

Schedule: 5:30pm canape and drinks reception, talks from 6-8pm, followed by a lively panel debate, sumptuous dinner served by Celebration Caterers, with plenty of opportunities for networking.

Speakers include:
  • Hamid Mughal, Rolls Royce, on advanced manufacturing and partnering with industry
  • Kevin Kendall, Birmingham University, on fuel cells for unmanned aerial vehicles
  • Barry Shrier on A Vision of the Future – How to get to the Zero-Carbon Highway
  • Simon Brewerton, RDM Group, on developing autonomous electric vehicles

Chairs: Julia King and Bjorn Birgisson from Aston University. Presentations of new business plans are invited, with awards of £500, 250 and 125 being given out to the best teams through TSB funding. Note that there is no cost to pitch.
