Are you a West Midlands based large company that is leading on the sustainability and low carbon economy agenda?
If yes, then we would like to hear from you as part of our Business Futures project.
About Business Futures
The aim of the Business Futures project is to improve the support of the leading large companies in the region around sustainability issues through sharing good practice between them, improving their access to support, and using their supply and disposal chains as a way of reaching out to smaller businesses.
Leading large companies that participate in the Business Futures project will be given the opportunity to raise their profile and voice around the sustainability and low carbon economy agenda.
The main aims of the Business Futures project are:
- To share good practice - Improve communication around the key issues of waste, water, transport, energy use, innovation and procurement between large companies and the public/ private networks working across the West Midlands region.
- To coordinate and lever in additional support - Improve coordinating the existing expertise of business support networks and solution providers to lever in additional support (information, training, grants) for large companies and where relevant their supply and disposal chains.
- To gather intelligence - Identify the type of current and future issues, information and support companies require to help inform large companies and their supply chains business planning processes to address low carbon issues, how to raise these common issues to regional policy makers, and whether a larger programme working with large companies is required.
