To act as a tool to help stimulate the debate on what a future low-carbon region could look like and how to get there.
Relevance to the region
Here is a catalyst for change. Just add decision-makers and strategic planning and hey-presto you have a debate rather than a committee about the future. We should all be able to improve on this vision and the action to move us forward, but in the meantime the challenge has been set, are we up for it?
What SWM liked
As joint commissioners of the work, we like the fact it is all based on existing technology and practice, combines other future factors such as demographic change, and paints a picture that is attainable and desirable.
