Refuse, Reduce, Recycle, Reuse – 10/2/21 postponed

10 February

09:30 – 14:00

Wem Town Hall

Meres and Mosses Business Environment Network

The Event

In a world with a circular economy, waste wouldn’t exist and resources wouldn’t be sent to landfill. This currently isn’t possible for many businesses, but taking on a more circular approach to the issue of waste can be hugely beneficial to both the planet and your business.

Join local experts to find out how you can incorporate sustainable practices into your waste processes. Lunch and refreshments will be provided within a relaxed networking environment and as always, the event is free to both members and first-time attendants.

Presenters will include UCS’s  Dr Julieanna Powell-Turner who will deliver insights on how to ‘Know your Waste’ and independent consultant Gary Grantham who will speak about a scrapyard remediation case study. Sponsors Filkin & Co will also be holding a waste management cerebration.

If you would like to speak at this event, please get in touch.
