Role: Chair of Sustainability West Midlands

Tim Haywood was Group Finance Director of FTSE250 Support Services and Construction Group Interserve Plc from 2010 until September 2017. Tim was appointed to the additional role of Head of Sustainability in 2011, having been inspired by his daughter’s experience as UNICEF’s UK ambassador to the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference. In recognition of his work in sustainability he was appointed HRH Prince of Wales’ Ambassador for Responsible Business in 2017.

He was previously Finance Director of regeneration specialist St. Modwen Properties plc, of distribution business Hagemeyer UK and of various subsidiaries and divisions within FTSE100 diversified industrial company Williams Holdings PLC.

He ended his executive corporate career to purchase and run Astley Vineyard in Worcestershire with his family.

He is a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chairman of media group Tarsus plc and an advisor to a number of charities.

He is a keen rower, marathon runner, and is married with two grown-up children. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
