Rosemary is a SWM Associate.
With over twenty years experience working in the field of environmental sustainability, from climate change adaptation and mitigation to advisor on and manager of european projects, Rosemary has a wealth of knowledge and is well respected within the region. Her skills are plentiful; Programme, project and process management, Financial management, Public consultation, Awareness raising and capacity building, Development and delivery of training, Partnership and multidisciplinary working, Team working and mentoring SME support, Bid writing. And her expertise is in Sustainable design and construction, Climate change adaptation and mitigation, Housing retrofit and energy management, Environmental impact assessment/mitigation, Urban regeneration and transition, Low carbon technologies and innovation.
Rosemary was recognised by Sustainability West Midlands as a West Midlands Green Leader in 2011 due to her contribution to protecting and enhancing the environment at a local and regional level.
As well as having a MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment, a Master of Landscape Architecture, Rosemary is a Honorary Research Fellow for University of Birmingham –Urban Futures & Liveable Cities, Design Council CABE – Built Environment Expert (sustainability panel member for nationally significant development schemes), MADE Expert Panel Member and UVNS Design Review Panel Member. Additionally, she has also been a Climate-KIC Pioneers into Practice Regional Coach over the last three years (2014-2016).
