This training forms part of Sustran’s Clean Air Champions project, where we are looking to work with people from across the city to share information about air quality with their communities. Training is aimed at residents of Birmingham, and you don’t need any prior knowledge to join. It’s very informal and you don’t need anything to join.
With air pollution having improved so much since lockdown and there being a general increase in public conversation around it and how we hang on to any positives that we are seeing. The project is flexible and the main idea is about sharing the message about what air pollution is and how it affects us as individuals and as a community.
We’re providing training and materials for people to share – the training is all online through Zoom. We believe that by helping people to understand the problem, they are more likely to want to find a way to contribute to reducing air pollution.
Please get in touch if you have any questions.
