The event

Birmingham has been supporting schools and making them more sustainable through the Birmingham Sustainable Schools Programme, Eco Schools and many other initiatives over the last 10 years. We see schools as the hubs of our communities and, therefore, worth investing our capacity to educate young people on a greener future. Some of our schools are doing amazing work, but some are still yet to get going. We are inviting the Sustainability Forum to help structure the future green agenda of our schools and give their views and ideas on developing schools as Green Champions as well as engaging more with existing initiatives within schools whilst working more integrally with the wider Green Community. A fun packed and informative evening is planned – so come and have your say!
