Debbie Ward, (Gleeds, CirkloConsult and Birmingham Circular Economy Club Coordinator), will give a brief overview of the Circular Economy within the context of ‘building back better’ and discuss examples of cities that are using CE strategies to enable a green and inclusive recovery post-COVID-19. Philippa Birch-Wood, Director of Thrive at Chetwoods and UK Green Building Council regional rep, will demonstrate how Circular Economy principles can be applied to building design and highlight the guidance available to project teams, enabling us to build back better.
