The 2020 Low Carbon Business and Communities Partnership has been set up to encourage the move to a low carbon future within the Coventry and Warwickshire area. The first major event, held in November, attracted over 90 attendees and we are hoping to build on that success with the second event which will focus on the built environment – looking at the housing, commercial and public sectors.Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from organisations delivering low carbon developments and join workshops to discuss how these solutions can be rolled out.Opportunities for business,jobs & training in Coventry & Warwickshire with projections of 80,000 new homes and associated community and business support facilities.Combined £1billion investment programme between the University of Warwick and Coventry University.Showcasing planned large scale integrated sustainable business and community development projects.View the full Building a Better Future programme.
