The Event
The first half of this event focuses on the launch of a new suite of training resources on planning and climate change resilience, as well as providing good practice examples of how councils have integrated adaptation into their local plans.After lunch, the workshop will specifically focus on Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems. The main purpose of this session will be to allow local planning authorities to ask questions to leading SUDS organisations on legislation and what they should be doing by way of SUDS implementation.The events will be suitable for council planners, climate change and sustainability officers, regeneration officers and developers. The events will enable attendees to consolidate their knowledge of statutory requirements, planning policy, costs of adaptation, neighbourhood planning, building adaptations and green infrastructure.
