The event itself
The workshop includes expert speakers from:
- The Environment Agency on flood risk mapping and flood warnings
- Staffordshire County Council on business continuity management
- Climate East Midlands on current understanding of how patterns of severe weather are likely to change and how this translates into risks and opportunities for businesses
Discussion of severe weather scenarios and interactive exercises, will lead to each participant creating an action plan for their business, so that each participant leaves with ideas for practical steps that they can take to make their business more resilient.
