The event
16 to 20 May 2016 is Global Business Continuity Awareness Week (BCAW). Recent incidents in the news, such as the Bangladeshi bank (see the BBC news article), which purchased $10 second-hand routers and failed to implement firewalls and antivirus and had £56m stolen from its accounts, are a clear example where suitable investment in IT security, business continuity and disaster recovery can help protect businesses.
