The eventThis free breakfast event will provide an opportunity to find out all the support that is on offer to businesses in the Greater Birmingham area – from grants and funding to coaching and mentoring. You will also get the chance to learn more about the Growth Hub, the new home for all business advice, funding and support in the area. At the event you will be able to access one-to-one specialist advice, make new contacts and network with businesses and other organisations.Speakers:Mark Sayers, Deputy Director, Business Productivity and Growth Programmes, Department for Business Innovation and Skills Saqib Bhatti, Director of Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership and president of the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce.It is an exciting time for Greater Birmingham with job creation, foreign direct investment and company start-ups performing strongly. The GBSLEP is building upon a growing confidence in the region by changing the way it offers assistance to businesses. With major investments on the way, such as HS2, the Growth Hub will be the one-stop-shop to access all public support and new business opportunities.
