The event
We are seeing the rapid adoption and development of new technologies being used in transport; new means of processing payments from SMEs such as Droplet; and new means of delivering live information to passengers as they use the transport network. Understanding the possible economic and social benefits from these new technologies will help harness significant opportunities for UK companies, inventors and investors. Can Birmingham become the test-bed for new Intelligent Mobility solutions? This event will debate issues around intelligent mobility and how the development of the ‘Internet of Things’ will bring huge advances and opportunities in how we move about and what that will mean for us. Intelligent Mobility is a fundamental part of the growing Smart City agenda, which Birmingham is developing as part of its growing reputation in cutting-edge technology, entrepreneurship and innovation.
