The event itself
The overall aim of these workshops is to help staff across Government Departments develop their sustainable competence in order to be able to contribute, through their work, towards the achievement of a society which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. The aim will be to train those who will embed the training and techniques within their Department.
The workshops will:
- enable participants to explore innovative but practical ways to support and influence colleagues, senior managers, procurement teams and suppliers in sustainable development behaviour change.
- develop participants’ communication techniques, strategies for enabling others to discover how important behaviour change is and methods of motivating them to consider making changes.
