The Event
The Chetwoods team is constantly on the lookout for construction and landscape related products and services that support the creation of a sustainable, circular and healthy built environment.
The following criteria and questions are key to how Chetwoods specify materials, products and services for their client’s projects. If you think your materials, products or services would pass the Chetwoods selection process then we would like to invite you to attend a Challenge Exhibition to showcase your offer and have the opportunity to be selected as a supplier for future Chetwoods projects, in particular the redevelopment of a building to create an exemplar circular facility.
CARBON: e.g. where does the material come from, where is the product manufactured, what is the embodied carbon?
WATER: e.g. how much water is used in the production of the material or product?
RESOURCES: e.g. is any BIM data or an Environmental Product Declaration available, what % of recycled content does the material or product have? What is the life span and can it easily be reused, repurposed or recycled?
HEALTH & WELLBEING: e.g. does the product contain any Red List materials or materials mentioned on the REACH restricted substances list? Do you have an Ethical Trade Policy or Guide? Do you have an Equality and Diversity Policy?
BIODIVERSITY: e.g. are you ISO 14001 accredited?
RESILIENCE: e.g. do you have a carbon strategy? Is the resource renewable or finite?
If you think you have a material, product or service that fits this criteria and you are a Small or Medium sized business, based in the Black Country and/or Stoke & Staffordshire register with details about your products or services including a short explanation as to why they are sustainable, circular, low/zero carbon and/or improve human health (ideally with compliance to WELL accreditation standards).
Your application will be shortlisted to take a space at the FREE Challenge Exhibition, present face to face to Chetwoods and have the opportunity to become a supplier for future projects.

It provides support to their teams in the use of appropriate and innovative software and hardware to deliver sustainable architecture.
At Chetwoods they are always pushing the boundaries of what is possible. They designed the world’s first net zero carbon for construction verified building, the world’s first BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ logistics building and the most technically advanced container port in the world – where there is innovation, they are always at the forefront.
