The Event
This autumn, the Circular Economy Club (CEC) will celebrate its inaugural “Circular Cities Week” global event (Oct. 28-Nov. 3, 2019). The goal: to push, with a united voice, for the design and implementation of circular economy strategies in cities worldwide. This effort will coincide with the United Nations World Cities Day on Oct. 31.
We are bringing together stakeholders from across Birmingham and the Midlands to collaborate and explore how the region can embark on the journey to circularity. The event will kick off with presentations to set the scene on circular cities and provide an overview of what’s already happening in Birmingham and the Midlands, followed by the opportunity to discuss how we can work together, identify next steps and put ideas into action.
