The event

Lucideon (formerly CICS) is a leading global expert in verification and certification services, will be holding a free breakfast forum, ‘Complying with ESOS’, at theirheadquarters in Stoke-on-Trent.

Earlier this year, the government announced details of the Energy Savings and Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) which is mandatory for those organisations in the UK that meet the qualification criteria. This forum will look at the detail of the scheme, including opportunities and compliancy routes ahead of the 5 December 2015 audit deadline. We are delighted that presentations will be given by Jo Scully, ESOS Project Manager at the Environment Agency (EA) (administrator of the scheme), Michael McGowan, Quality, Environmental and Energy Manager at Ibstock Brick Ltd, and Stuart Jackson, Director at Stuart Jackson Associates Limited. Topics will include:
  • Meeting the scheme requirements – registration, notification, deadlines, helpdesk, and the ESOS lead assessors register
  • Compliance route – ISO 50001 certification
  • Compliance route – ESOS energy audit
  • Identification and prioritisation of energy reduction measures.
