The event itself

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) involves understanding your business’ impact on the wider world and considering how you can ensure this impact is positive. It means taking a responsible attitude, going beyond the minimum legal requirements and following straightforward principles that apply whatever the size of your business.

This event from the University of Wolverhampton, in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, will explain what CSR is, how it can be good for your bottom line, and how you can apply its principles to your business.

Speakers include Silke Machold, PhD, who is a Reader in Governance and Ethics at the University of Wolverhampton Business School, and Richard Ellis, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Alliance Boots Group. He has spent the past 30 years working for a range of companies on all aspects of the CSR agenda.
