The Event

Coventry University are gearing up for Green Week 2025, a dedicated time to promote sustainability, environmental action, and student involvement in making the campus greener. Whether you’re passionate about tackling climate change, reducing waste, or just curious about how to live more sustainably, Green Week is your chance to get involved, learn, and make an impact.

What is Green Week?

Green Week at Coventry University is all about raising awareness and encouraging action on environmental issues. Through a mix of events, workshops, and hands-on activities, students and staff can explore different ways to live and work more sustainably. Coventry University is committed to becoming a more sustainable institution, and Green Week is a key part of this journey.

What to expect in Green Week 2025

Throughout the week, you can expect a range of activities designed to educate and inspire. These could include:

Workshops & talks – Learn from experts about sustainability, climate action, and how students can make a difference.

Sustainable travel initiatives – Discover cycling schemes, public transport options, and ways to reduce your carbon footprint.

Recycling & waste reduction – Get involved in upcycling projects, waste reduction challenges, and learn practical tips on cutting down waste.

Eco-friendly living tips – Find out how to reduce your impact with greener shopping, sustainable food choices, and energy-saving hacks.

Biodiversity & green spaces – Explore Coventry University’s efforts to enhance biodiversity, plant trees, and make the campus a greener space.

Taking part in Green Week isn’t just about learning, it’s about action. Whether it’s adopting small daily changes, volunteering for sustainability projects, or pushing for greener policies, every effort helps.
