The Event

This workshop aims to support companies driving the transition to decentralised renewable power generation away from large fossil-fuel power. DEALS will provide an industry-focussed insight into Aston’s expertise in machine learning and control applied to Distribution Networks and an overview of the facilities of the Energy and Bioproducts Research Institute (EBRI), which has a multi-building test and demonstration environment for energy generation and control systems which includes solar, biofuels and electric vehicles to grid. Case studies will show how Aston’s expertise in these areas has benefitted a range of companies. We will explain the mechanisms available to facilitate industry-university interaction for companies of any scale seeking to take advantage of these technologies.
