Hydrogen is a major green growth opportunity area for the Midlands and every region and nation of the UK. The UK Government has set an ambition to produce 10GW of low carbon hydrogen by 2030. On top of this, the UK Government is pulling together policy frameworks to optimise the future distribution, storage and end-use technology opportunities for hydrogen.Midlands Engine, in collaboration with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), is hosting this webinar for UK companies, universities, local authorities and other parties with an interest in low carbon hydrogen. In particular, insight will be provided into the future UK hydrogen policy and the support landscape for businesses interested in moving into the hydrogen value chain.
The webinar will cover three policy focus areas:
- Hydrogen Business Model
- Hydrogen Transport and Storage Framework
- Hydrogen Blending
There will also be an opportunity for questions at the end.
