The event
Now in its 11th year, the UK’s premier Hydrogen and Fuel Cell event attracts over 200 delegates from UK, Europe and further afield. A key aspect of the event is the facilitation of partnering meetings to provide forums for discussions re business opportunities and joint funding bids especially within the European Hydrogen and Fuel Cell community – a valuable and much appreciated dimension to the conference. The HFC Conference programme features workshops and presentations from leaders in their fields with reference to policy, buildings, transport, storage and infrastructure. Amber Rudd MP Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of Energy and Climate Change has agreed to deliver the keynote presentation and Dr Jean Luc Delplancke – Head of Unit, Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Joint Understanding – European Horizon 2020 will discuss the €1.33 billion European investment into this technology alongside Klaus Ullrich, Director of Business Development, Fuel Cell Energy Solutions, getting this conference off to a powerful start. The conference will be of interest not only to those already involved in this sector but also to professionals in related fields who would like to gain an insight into the opportunities this technology provides. CCS are interested to talk to organisations who wish to: contribute to the plenary sessions or workshops, become a sponsor or exhibit at the conference. CCS are also keen to work with Universities involved in H & FC research and would like to offer academic institutions the opportunity to sponsor a workshop, exhibit, or attend as delegates. We feel it is really important to encourage the interaction between academia and industry creating the opportunity for discussions around funding initiatives and providing the vital link for students to possible future employment. We are offering students the opportunity to attend the conference at a reduced rate of just £65 and also to submit posters to be displayed at the conference.
