Developing a collaborative accelerator programme focused on digital manufacturing in construction – 14/5/19

Following on from a workshop we ran with CITB last month on digital in construction, we are looking to develop the ideas that came from this by running a follow-up workshop on the afternoon of 14 May in central Birmingham. The goal of the workshop will be to start to develop a collaborative proposal around an accelerator/innovation programme focused on digital manufacturing in construction and the intelligent customer, which may include:

• proof of concept and demonstrator level activity
• support for innovative SMEs to develop/ commercialise products and processes
• parallel support for ‘clients’ to adopt technology/ solutions
• a digital platform that has the ability to link specific ideas to specialist clients.
