The event
This spring, EBRI is launching a suite of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses to enable you to increase your personal knowledge and skills in key areas relating to the bioenergy sector. Designed by EBRI’s world-leading scientists and researchers, each course is a 3-day stand-alone course and you can just participate in one or all of them. These courses are part of a pilot scheme, accredited by IChemE (10 CPD credits per course) and supported through EBRI’s INTERREG IVB project – BioenNW – which allows you to take these courses at no cost to yourself or your organisation for a limited time. The first course on 13-15 April 2015 is ‘The fundamentals of bioenergy’. This course will introduce participants to the bioenergy technologies available to convert biomass into energy and will allow them to develop concepts to enable the better understanding of the challenges and limitations that these technologies might face. Upcoming courses in this suite currently include: 11-13 May – Bioenergy applications 1-3 June – Biomass feedstocks
