This workshop will provide you with a good understanding of how the planning and environmental permitting systems work. Case-study examples of first-hand experiences by URS consultants will be discussed along with the commonly experienced ‘pitfalls’ of the planning and permitting application processes. Workshop topics include: *   An introduction to the planning system   *   Planning policy   *   Planning applications   *   Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)   *   Introduction to the environmental permitting system   *   Permit applications   *   Regulatory guidance The workshop will be interactive so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout and a buffet lunch is included. You will also be offered the opportunity to receive additional free 1:1 advice on planning and permitting to help move your bioenergy project forward.
