The event
This event identifies how electric vehicles can be used as a viable transport option for rural businesses and motorists through new research from a demonstrator trial in Warwickshire (the Warwickshire Rural Electric Vehicle project – WREV). The event will draw on the experiences of a range of small businesses who adopted electric vehicle technology as part of the WREV project. It will also allow stakeholders interested in electric vehicles the opportunity to test drive an electric vehicle. The day will feature presentations from academics, and industry representatives, alongside dialogue with trial participants, to consider how EVs can be utilised as a mobility and/or sustainable business solution for those in rural locations.
