The workshop

Speakers include Coventry City Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council. In addition, the Carbon Trust will outline the ‘Empower’ offering including behaviour change background and context, top tips for public sector behaviour change programmes, and will finish with a live demonstration of the tool itself, which aims to provide:
- Engaging training, information and ideas to help users to understand how to cut carbon and costs
- An easy way for users to pledge action to reduce energy use, water use, or waste – or to suggest ideas to management to help an organisation to become more efficient and more sustainable
- Reporting functionality for a super user, or users, to track the cumulative impact of pledges made and suggestions from users
- A virtual tour of an organisation, site or building, in which high carbon and resource use hotspots are embedded
