Enviro visit to F Ball and Co. Ltd – 27/3/17

An opportunity for sben members to visit F Ball and Co. Ltd –  Established in 1886, the company is the UK’s leading manufacturer of flooring adhesives and floor preparation products for the contract flooring industry. Operating from a state of the art facility in the Staffordshire Moorlands, the investment in the advancement of its manufacturing plant to expand production capacity whilst considering all opportunities to incorporate and maximise energy saving measures whenever possible, is always high on the Company’s agenda. Careful and controlled ongoing planning means that all of the Company’s infrastructure continues to be upgraded in order to maximise energy savings wherever possible, from Company cars, the site’s lighting, heating, compressed air generation and usage, to generating its own electricity through nearly 1,000 solar panels across the factory roof. The visit includes a presentation by F Ball and Co. Ltd, a site tour and networking opportunities with lunch.
