The event

Fit for the Future is a network of change-makers: people who are pushing the boundaries to create a sustainable, climate-friendly future for their organisation, their sector and the UK as a whole. The network’s annual members’ event, the Network Harvest, takes place this October 17th at the Law Society in London with the theme of ‘Taking Charge of Change.’ This year’s event is all about celebrating the changes that the network’s environmental practitioners have made possible, from slashing plastic waste and boosting clean energy to adapting historic buildings to climate-change. Attendees will be plugging in to practical solutions and getting an inspiration re-charge as we hear about positive shifts and achievements within the not-for-profit sector and beyond.  This year’s event is also about taking charge of the changes that aren’t in our control. There will be a focus on the latest UK climate projections and how organisations can put practical adaptation strategies in place as well as effectively communicate one of the biggest challenges of our time. Above all, it’s a day to recognise how much more organisations can achieve by working together.
