As the UK government prioritises economic growth, flood and coastal risk management must be positioned as an enabler of sustainable growth. At Flood and Coast 2025, we invite you to contribute to achieving this vision together.

By bringing together key voices from across policy, industry, and innovation, this year’s conference will move beyond discussions to action, equipping attendees with the knowledge, partnerships, and frameworks needed to drive resilient, future-ready growth.

This year’s programme is built around three emerging themes

• Day One – Understanding government growth ambitions and developing proactive strategies to support delivery: This day will equip attendees with insights, frameworks, sector introductions, and an understanding of common ground, promoting cross-sector collaboration (health, food, transport, housing, etc.) to embed flood and coastal management in planning.
• Day Two – Delivering sector integration by defining and expanding our networks: This day’s programme will tackle cross-sector and multi-sector collaboration opportunities with a solutions focus. The aim is to break down silos and effectively integrate flood risk management into national and local growth strategies.
• Day Three – Equipping the sector with the skills and knowledge needed for effective action: Flood and Coast leaders, industry experts, academics, and government will envision the future, and plan how to attract, retain, and develop the best talent, as well as adopt the best technology to achieve our goals.
