The event
The Footsteps – Faiths for a low carbon future will explore what faith communities in Birmingham can do together to help create a low carbon future. This event is an opportunity to share your thoughts, hear from others, and explore how we can work together. All are welcome, whether you’ve got years of experience in caring faithfully for the environment, or are totally new to the subject and want to find out how you can get involved. Speakers include: Dr Fazlun Khalid – Founder-Director of the Islamic Foundation for Ecology and Environmental Science (Eco Islam). Mark Letcher – Operation Noah – an ecumenical Christian charity providing leadership, focus and inspiration in response to the growing threat of catastrophic climate change. A Sikh Perspective – Initiatives by the Sikh community – Preserving and restoring eco systems. Download the Footsteps flyer – 8/5/16.
