The Event
A team of industry experts has been lined-up to answer energy saving questions thrown at them by delegates at ESTA’s annual aM&T conference and exhibition. This year the new-look and free-to-attend event features a conference, exhibition and a series of energy clinics. Now in its 12th year, the event will be held at the Ricoh Arena Coventry on Thursday 27 February. The objective of the event is to help energy professionals plan, organise and deliver all their energy monitoring, metering and energy saving needs. The event is free to attend provided you register in advance. Lunch is also provided. Automatic Monitoring and Targeting (aM&T) is the technology that automatically delivers the management information energy managers need to make their businesses energy efficient and save money. How you incorporate and use smart meters and aM&T is critical to achieving real reductions in energy consumption. Among the expert speakers on hand will be senior representatives from DECC’s Smart Metering team and Electricity Demand Reduction team, who will address industry concerns. There will also be sessions on:
- How to make sense of energy efficiency policies
- How to build the business case for energy efficient investment
- Smart meters and how to evolve your energy strategy
- Ofgem advice session on the renewable heat incentive; and
- From the meter to the screen – a guide to aM&T
The event attracts delegates from a wide range of backgrounds but would most appeal to those who are responsible for: monitoring and managing energy use; energy policy and strategic approach to energy; and purchasing energy or energy related services, systems or products. Alongside the conference will be an exhibition featuring many of the leading exponents and experts in metering and monitoring and a series of Energy Clinics designed to provide practical advice and energy saving tips.
