Northfield Ecocentre is proud to announce the delivery of two new half-day training dates in Fuel Poverty specifically for community workers. This training consists of two sessions:  24th February 2016, 10am-1pm and 3 March 2016, 10am-1pm. With winter upon us, and fuel poverty expected to reach record levels, this training will give community workers the opportunity to learn about how they can help their clients manage their fuel bills. Content will include:

  • top energy saving tips
  • understanding running costs
  • condensation and damp
  • heating controls
  • understanding storage heaters and Economy 7
  • common problems with pre-payment meters

The sessions will be delivered by SWM associate, Phil Beardmore of Northfield Ecocentre, a long-standing expert and trainer in fuel poverty and energy efficiency. There are only 6 places available on the short course which is offered at £30.00 per person excluding VAT (both training sessions inclusive).
