The event
Our member, sben, are offering one to one sessions for Staffordshire SMEs who may be interested in applying for funding through the Green Bridge Supply Chain programme. This is an ongoing programme with regular rounds for funding with grant awards of between £10,000 and £100,000 being available for up to 50% of eligible costs. sben member, Barrington Engineering, secured £90,000 from Green Bridge to cover 45% of the costs of a £200,000 project to develop a new product in Round 1 of the programme. The company offers bespoke engineering solutions to a range of problems but saw an opportunity to diversify into anaerobic digestion (AD) equipment for the biogas industry. They plan to develop AD pre-treatment equipment and micro AD plant equipment. Barrington Engineering made use of a 1-2-1 session with a Green Bridge representative organised by sben.
