The event itself

There will be four guest speakers:

  • Christian Wolmar, writer and broadcaster
  • Mike Geddes, Professor
  • Jim Steer, director of Greengauge21
  • Martin Dyer, vice-chair of the West MIdlands Business Transport Group.
  • Chair to be confirmed

 

Each speaker will outline their position and then a debate will follow with written questions to be submitted in advance and questions from the audience to be taken on the night.

This is a fantastic opportunity to hear both sides of the argument on the HS2 plan and what it means for Birmingham and the environment.
