The event itself

There has never been a more critical time to recycle effectively. Sending end of life electrical and electronic equipment to landfill is no longer an option. Overton Recycling welcomes us to visit its state of the art recycling facility, where modern processing techniques offer a 21st Century solution to a 21st Century problem.

This workshop will support you in reducing costs by becoming resource efficient – giving you the opportunity to invest your time and money into developing your business further.

Black Country Chamber of Commerce working in partnership with NatWest, the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS), and Business Link West Midlands, are delivering a series of workshops that will provide you with an overview of the available small scale renewable energy options, along with an update on the latest government incentive schemes.
You will:
-Gain an understanding of the policy drivers for renewable energy technologies.
-Gain an understanding of what renewable energy technologies are available to SME businesses and the practical issues around retrofitting.
-Hear practical examples of where local companies have successfully invested in small scale renewable energy technologies
-Gain a clear understanding of government incentive schemes such as Feed in Tariffs (FITS).

After the workshop, our host Overton Recycling invite you to stay for lunch and spend time networking as well as looking around its extensive recycling and reprocessing facility.
