Constructing Excellence, Innovation Alliance for the West Midlands and the Energy Systems Catapult have been collaborating over the Spring and Summer, this year, to develop ways of innovating in the construction sector. We’ve honed in on some of the key drivers and challenges in construction, including sustainability, productivity, digital innovation and integration, and the whole-life usage of buildings. To this end, we would like to invite you to take part in an innovation workshop session on the morning of 31st July, from 9.30am-12.30pm, at Energy Systems Catapult’s office, in central Birmingham.
The morning will be a great opportunity to exchange knowledge between the construction and energy/ sustainability sectors, and help us to understand how to maximise productivity via the interplay between construction and sustainability. During the sessions we will also look at forming consortia/ cross-sector innovation teams with the aim of applying for funding for collaborative projects.
