The Event

The LGC’s are the biggest celebration of excellence in local government, and they return as a physical event on 4 November. This year there 19 categories including 3 new categories for this year’s awards: Climate Response, Economic Support and Outstanding Individual Contribution. This is your opportunity to celebrate your achievements and be recognised for your achievement and endeavour. The awards will reflect the fact that Covid-19 and the response to it have posed an unprecedented challenge to local government. Our judges will consider attributes such as performance, resilience, compassion and adaptability in the face of the pandemic alongside innovation and vision.
