The event
This is a meeting of our joint Midlands Sustainable Education Network with EAUC and SWM. SWM will be providing a presentation on the day that will give an overview of:
- Our recent work benchmarking LEPs, city regions and combined authorities’ progress with regards to stimulating the low carbon economy, embracing low carbon energy and tackling climate change.
- Our delivery of sustainability activity for the West Midlands Combined Authority and next steps following our Annual Conference on 28 November.
- Update on our Roadmap and how the West Midlands is progressing on key metrics up to 2020.
This event follows an Emerging Leaders action learning workshop taking place in the morning at the same venue.
Audience
This event is for members of the Midlands Sustainable Education Network and other SWM networks and members interested in sharing good practice and finding out more about SWM’s recent work.
