The Event

Energy bills and efficiency standards can be difficult to navigate. Businesses want to save money, reduce wasteful activity, and be fully informed about Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES). But it’s hard to know where to start. Worcestershire County Council have teamed up with Alex Pearson from the Midlands Net Zero Hub to help you on this journey. Join this live online event to learn how to spot and reduce energy waste and meet MEES in a cost-effective way. After some housekeeping a brief introduction, Alex will talk for 20 minutes. The audience will have 25 minutes for questions.

Alex Pearson Bio: I work as a Net Zero Projects Manager for the Midlands Net Zero Hub. Currently I have a small team of energy project officers working in the West Midlands to assist in the identification and delivery of low carbon energy schemes for local authorities, Local Enterprise Partnerships and others.

I have worked in both Commercial / Industrial energy efficiency and renewable generation sectors and have a knowledge of the major technologies down to installation level. I am currently engaged on projects such as large scale housing, building decarbonisation, heat networks, energy efficiency and carbon reduction plans.

A link for the event will be sent 24 hours before the start time.
