The event
Northfield Eco Centrewill be part of this event by bring back the success of Northfield Beach once again, only this time it will be on an even bigger and better scale. They will be part of an eco-village, full of wonderful and exciting activities and organisations to entertain and inspire you. So give you a flavour of what’s to come, they have:
- Green wood working workshops on Wednesday and Thursday
- EcoKids on Wednesday & Thursday
- Cycle Tuition happening throughout the week
- Dr Bike on Thursday & Friday afternoon
- Wild food Foraging session with LOAF on Saturday afternoon
- Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust bug activities on Saturday
- Birmingham Friends of the Earth waste games on Saturday and Sunday
- Community Gardening demonstrations
- Birmingham Bee Keepers and a demonstration hive on Wednesday and Thursday’
- ‘Northfield by the Beach’ including a Coconut Shy and tongue in cheek look at how Northfield could look in the future if we had extreme climate change
- Green Generations craft activities
- Sewing activities on Friday morning
- Birmingham Organic Gardeners on Friday
- Nappuccino on Friday and Saturday
