The event
This event is aimed at community groups and volunteers who wish to make positive changes to improve the energy efficiency of the homes in their area. The aim of the day is to give community groups some practical project ideas to take forwards. It’s also a chance for us to tell you about the Green Open Homes network. This initiative aims to get more groups running open homes events, which are a great way to inspire action by showcasing energy saving improvements made by householders to their own homes.
The session will include:
- Talks from groups who have delivered their own successful open homes event.
- Talks about local energy efficiency projects.
- A guide to resources available to support local energy efficiency projects.
- An introduction to Green Open Homes.
- A chance to share project ideas and receive guidance from experts.
Attendees are invited to attend all of the talks or simply drop in at any time to chat to us.
