The event
This two-day course will give participants a working-level understanding of the Passivhaus standard, its embodiment of basic building physics and their application; the cost implication during the design, build, operation and whole life cycle; quality assurance and onsite delivery; and the certification process. It is aimed at SMEs; housing associations, developers, architects, architectural technicians, energy assessors and consultants, M&E specialists, quantity surveyors, contractors and sub-contractors. Construction product manufacturers may also find the content a useful introduction. Most training companies can charge £200-£500 for this type of training, however the Sustainable Building Futures project at Coventry University is able to provide fully-funded support, so SMEs in the West Midlands can receive this workshop for FREE.

Please note: as there has been a high demand for these courses, priority will be given to new companies who have not previously attended. Places are limited to one person per company and confirmation of booking is based on submission of valid and original SME Eligibility Form.
