The event itself
The event is a full day of presentations, including a tour of key parts of the Harper Adams campus. This will give attendees the chance to take in the latest agricultural developments and the anaerobic digester.
Speakers will include leading lights from the NFU, Harper Adams and from the CPRE. In addition it will consider the impact of farm buildings and farm energy generation on the landscape. The speakers will explore the economics of the industry generally, what is happening in selected sectors, and how this may affect the in-trays of planning officers in future years.
The event aims to give attendees an understanding of what makes agriculture tick and what that means in terms of development requirements.
