The event
The Public Health England Annual Conference 2016 will bring together over 1,400 participants from a wide range of organisations, to learn, network and share knowledge and experience. The theme of this year’s conference is Evidence into action, and the conference will promote and showcase the application and translation of science and research, to support effective local and national action to improve public health. PHE anticipate that the conference will be of interest to representatives from across the health and social care system interested in applied prevention research, programmes and policy. Many of the workshops include elements around sustainability, carbon reduction and resilience and will be of interest to our WM Sustainability and Public Health Network.
