The event
Our latest public sector event is for members of both our West Midlands Sustainable Development Officers Network and our Energy Managers Network. The theme of this workshop will be on carbon management on the public sector estate, with a particular focus on how renewable energy projects can reduce carbon emissions. We will be hearing from the latest schemes, incentives and programmes in place that you can make use of, and good practice examples where organisations have already developed renewable schemes on their estates and who have generated savings as a result. As always, our speakers will provide an honest overview of the schemes they have been involved with and provide an analysis of the barriers and successes of such schemes. The workshop will also give the opportunity for sustainability and energy managers to come together to discuss opportunities. Although the main focus will be on local authorities, any Energy Managers who are from other public bodies on our network should also find this of interest. The workshop agenda is available here.
Audience
This workshop is for members of our WMSDON or Energy Managers Networks, or for other public sector sustainability and energy managers based in the West Midlands.
