The event

Come and hear how one of Worcester’s largest manufacturers is working to reduce their impact on the environment. Southco Manufacturing Ltd., a global leading manufacturer of engineered access products with their European Headquarters in Worcester, is inviting local businesses to hear about their efforts to increase the sustainability of the business, having progressively reduced energy consumption and implemented a recycling programme that now sees 99% of waste recycled. Guest Speakers Speaker 1: Phil Kempson, EU Managing Director, Southco. Topic: Welcome and introduction to Southco Speaker 2: Sadie Lewis, Senior EHS & Quality Services Engineer, Southco. Topic: Sustainability at Southco Speaker 3: Jill Davis, Marketing & Strategic Alliance Manager, ISO Quality Services Ltd. Topic: Environmental and energy management systems Speaker 4: Kate Ashworth, Director of Consultancy Services, Encraft Topic: Worcestershire’s Energy Strategy Southco will also discuss how implementing an environmental management system has helped them along this journey and we will hear about the management systems available to businesses from ISO Quality Services Ltd. Finally we will receive an update on Worcestershire’s Energy Strategy. The forum begins with a light networking breakfast and concludes with an optional factory tour.
